Training
The training plan to be carried out at the Salamanca State Reference Centre for the Care of Persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementias is an initiative aimed at centre staff and families of users and other agents who participate in the treatment process.
The aim of this plan is to give clear, practical training in the different areas of knowledge related to Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementias.
This plan, which includes a series of monthly courses, will be personalised to adapt it to all of the people who participate in them, and so that workers, caregivers, family members etc who are in contact with the person with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia may have the newest tools to thereby improve the quality of life of people with dementia.
There is currently no doubt about the importance of continuous training as a decisive element in both the professional development of workers and for improving the competitiveness of public or private companies. It has in fact become a resource at the service of organizations, not just for acquiring the knowledge it allows us to obtain, but also for the change that has occurred in the values and attitudes towards constant improvement.
These training actions carried out may be of different types, either in house, semi-in house or by e-learning.
